	MAY 20th PITCFUG MEETING: Building an AIR Application

At our May meeting we will move from the past discussions of building Flex apps to building AIR applications. Reed Powell will lead the presentation and include live examples of building an AIR application. This instruction will build upon what we’ve already learned about creating Flex applications, and add the additional use of technologies for interacting with local file systems, external database access, etc.


	This meeting of the Pittsburgh Adobe ColdFusion User Group will be held at IMPAQT in Greentree. The discussion begins at 6pm, with networking and food starting at 5:30pm. The meeting is sponsored by IMPAQT. Click HERE for directions.

	The Pittsburgh area ColdFusion Users Group normally meets on the third Tuesday of each month. Our meetings begin at 6:00 pm, and are held in Greentree at the Foster Plaza offices of IMPAQT (click on the DIRECTIONS button for more details). We will always have at least one presentation at each meeting, along with any organizational discussions that are needed. Our meetings are sponsored by IMPAQT, who also provide the Pizza and pop/soda.
